2006 rear rotor removal??

I'm doing pads and rotors on my 06' SRW and am wondering how to get the rear rotors off. Any suggestions?

do a search, you have to pull the axle cap off at the end of the hub

What axle do you have? Is it an AAM 11.5?

It is the AAM 11.5. I was doing some searching and I read that there is a locknut somewhere in the hub that holds the whole thing on. I am going out side to look when it gets a little more light out.

There is nothing other than the little wires that can be removed on the lugs to hold on the rotor. There is no axle cap to pull off, this axle is lubed by the diff fluid. If yours is like mine was, it is probably rusted on pretty good though. Just pull the wheel, pull off and throw away those little clamp thingys, pull and hang the caliper, then buy the best anti-seize spray you can find and soak all around the wheel center where it contacts the hub, and around each lug, then get out the mini sledge and start beating on the drum/parking break housing (do not hit the rotor surface) which is built in to the rotor. Be patient, this could take a few hours to loosen. Now if you want to replace the rotors then you can just beat the crap out of it, and it will come off much easier. Good luck.
