2006 Dodge engine locked,
When you pulled the head, how did you get the last 4 push rods out? I just lost a valved, but it looks like the seat broke, and suck the valve up, i have less piston damage. But i had trouble getting the last 3 or 4 push rods out, because of the lip of the engine bay towards #6

Man, that sucks. We have a 2006 here with a smoked motor as well. 126k miles. Just got back from a 10k mile trip across the country and back. Started misfiring then wouldn't start. Sounded like it lost a hole or holes. Pulled injectors and they looked OK, pulled the head and 1&2 were full of what can best be described as combustion mud with metal in the intake and oil pan and filter. Nothing definitive from the machine shop on what happened first. Really odd!
I would agree on grabbing that motor for $3800 and going with it.
