2005 warranty Q's

I have a 2005 2500 4wd. I tow a TT,(7500lbs dry), and the other day when backing in, the rpm's climbed and the truck didn't move like it should. I have never liked the action of this trans. I'm taking it in to have the dealer give it a look over. I do have a leaking fuel pump also.

I have an Airraid intake, Banks intake elbow, Amsoil by-pass oil system, Banks exhaust, All the Mag-hytec covers & transpan, 60 Gal fule tank in place of stock.

Will the dealer give me crap about the warranty for any of the previously listed upgrades?

By law they would have to show that your upgrades are related to the part that failed in order to deny service. Such as if your oil pump went out, they can show that you modified the oil system and deny you coverage. I don't know if they could say that a new trans pan can cause a tranny failure unless you did not refill to the proper level.

The only thing that concerns nme is the fuel tank. If they are up under there messing with the tranny and see the bigger tank..
