I picked up a 2005 as a project pickup and am having some issues with getting it going...First off when it was parked due to a transmission issue the pickup did run supposedly...

So after sitting a year i started working on it...dropped the fuel tank and drained the fuel, also found that the fuel pump wasnt getting any juice to it. So i checked the fuel pump fuse, fuel heater fuse, fuel pump relay all good to go and power traveling out of the fuse box....So my first question is, does anyone have a circuit diagram for the fuel system, does it travel somewhere after the fuse box before going to the tank?

The fuel gauge is getting power but i am still confused where i would be losing power to the pump...i inspected the wiring harness to the connection at the drivers side fender well and all looks good. I almost think it may be computer related if possible because the dash wont display any codes what so ever and when turning my key on the guages all remain dead (even voltage gauge with new batteries), the idiot lights all come on...and the guage cluster fuse is good?

On my truck the cooling fan was faulty drawing all the juice from the fuse panel. When we unhooked the fan the truck would start. Replaced the fan and it has worked fine. Stupid electronics.
