2005 Internment Tick

So the boss ladies 2005 pickup has a really weird tick, just seems to be on light throttle no power loss yet but should I be saving for injectors?

Most likely it is the CP-3 injection pump tick. It is very common and will not cause any harm. It could also be an injector line, check the clamps on each of the lines to make sure they are not loose.

The use of a fuel lubricant can reduce the CP-3 tick. I use 2 stroke oil at the rate of 2/3 oz per gallon, many use 1 oz per. There are other lubs available and the best is bio at the rate of 10% to 20%.
