2005 Cummins Airlocked?
Hello, I have a 2005 Dodge Cummins 5.9l that I just replaced the fuel pump in, as well as a new fuel filter. I put 15 gallons of fuel in the truck. Fuel gauge reads less than half. I primed the system as supposed to, had the truck idling about 10 minutes. Took the truck for a good 5 mile ride, came to a stop sign and SHUTDOWN. It will not start again. It cranks and cranks. Can the fuel system the air locked? Hydrolocked? If so how do I go about bleeding the air? I checked for codes and this is what came up:
P0581, P0463, P0462. I appreciate any help.

Can't help much, but these engines don't hydrolock and do not need to be bled. You should not attempt to bleed a common rail as pressures are high enough to inject diesel into flesh.
The codes you have relate to the multi function switch and fuel level circuit.
Maybe lost the lift pump?
