2005 Auto Trans Slipping

So I took truck to the dealer for normal service work and mentioned that the trans hunts when cold between 1-2-1...sometimes. Service guy calls me back and said trans is slipping shifting into 2nd. They have to tear into it to find the problem. I only have 24,500 mile on this truck and occasionally tow a 10,000lbs. 5th wheel. What did I do wrong? Still under warranty but I'm a little paranoid.

That's why my last 2 CTD and been 6 speeds. . .Go to a tranny shop and ask them about Dodge CTD autos. They will tell you to change/upgrade the TC and VB and then keep your fingers crossed.

this is not a problem with it slipping going into second it is the fact that the shift solenoid is giving up on you some guys have replace these and the problem goes away.
