Auto Trans Slipping?

I changed the fluid and filter and added a new mag-hytec pan to my 99' CTD about two weeks ago. The other day when I first took off from a cold start, engine and tranny were cold from sitting all night, the transmission acted as if I was in neutral. It reved then when I let off and gave it a little more gas it engaged. The tranny ran fine right after that. It has not done this again since then and I am wondering if this is something to worry about.

Check your fluid level in Neutural to be sure it hasn't 'burped' an air pocket causing a low fluid condition.

This seems to be common to the 99 Dodges here at work. It doesn't happen all the time just once in a while, you will jump in after setting all night , put in gear and.......nothin.....after about 3-5 seconds it will take hold and never have another problem.

Nearly 70000 miles later still going strong (just not out of the hole )

These are 1500's but still Dodge.
