i'm going to put a race trans into my 05, and a guy wants to buy the trans for more then the core charge, as mine's in good shape and has low miles, so i was wondering if you can put an 05 trans into an 04. i know there is some difference in the o/d lockout stuff, but not sure if it is software related or if the trans is actually different. any help would be greatly appriciated. thanks!

 

Software only. It will bolt right in.
