2004 auto trans.

I found this on another message board...

I was talking to the fleet mgr at the Dodge dealership where I bought my 01 diesel and I asked him about the five spd auto due to come out this fall. He told me it would be the Mercedes auto and would be priced about the same as the Allison. For old folks like me that's good news because I can't operate the clutch anymore.

Anyone know anything about this?

Re:2004 auto trans.

This is not true. There have been many other posts on this topic. The new auto is already out and is called the 48re, a 4-speed, and not a M-B.
