2003 will not start

I have a 2003 dodge! The injectors started leaking down to the point of it not wanting to start. I sent my injectors to Tennessee to get remand. We put them in with new tubes and now it wont run! There is fuel at the lines. its not smoking or anything. it hits on wd40 and that's all it will do. I am out of ideal. HELP

When you say there is fuel at the fuel lines, are you referring to the high pressure lines from the rail to the injectors?

Did you remove the rocker box with the injector harness during the injector swap? If so are you certain that the wires were connected back to the correct injectors on re-install? I know it's hard to do due to the way the harness is made from the ECM to the injector plugs but is it possible that maybe these are plugged into the wrong plug? Do you have a way to monitor the rail pressure? I know the ECM will not fire the injectors until rail pressure reaches a certain PSI. I can't remember what the pressure is off the top of my head. You should be able to find it with a quick search.

Just looked it up and there needs to be 4000 psi at the rail before the ECM will fire the injectors. It's possible that you have a weak or failing lift pump that was barely keeping up before. Once the fuel system was depressurized it's not able to provide an adequate supply to the CP3 which in turn can't provide enough pressure to fire the injectors.

One more thing that could cause the issues you are experiencing is the cascade overflow valve. This would route all fuel to the CP3 return instead of the high-pressure side.

The way I determined if there was rail pressure was to remove a small chunk of insulation on the rail pressure sensor wire and attach a voltmeter between it and common

at 0 psi it’s .5 volts. When cranking if you see anything like 2 volts you have rail pressure. Mine was about 2.3v at crank

i actually think it’s the injectors that won’t fire without enough pressure but either way you need pressure to get fuel

Also tubes could be leaking. All it would take is one. There are diffeeent torques floating around. I used 40ftlbs I think.

So don’t be afraid to give them a bit extra. Just not a LOT extra lol

the way I did them was to seat the injector. They kinda clink down in the hole. Then insert the tube until it clicks in. Then a small amount of torque on the injector hold downs. Then about 1/4 torque on the tubes then finish the injector then finish the tube. I felt this was the best way to make sure the interface between the tube and the injector body was good
