2003 (Gremlin, Sporadic) Hit and miss

When starting I can drive it about 10 miles all seems fine, runs good. Other times I start it runs fine until I get the destination, put it in Park I hear a miss, or Loping. I then shut it off wait a couple of minutes then start it, It runs fine after that, It only seems to come and go, Its does not do it all the time just every once in a while. Seems like a hit and miss.
I have a 2003 that I have taken in to a reptile Salt Lake Repair shop. No codes; they said it was a ground, but every once in a while it still happens.
I am thinking about taking it in to another Repair shop, any thoughts what it might be ?

Puzzled
Chris

Could be a chafed wire.

When I had this happen it was an injector starting to fail, keep your eye out on oil level and your nose out for oil/diesel fuel odors.

Yep. One of the symptoms of the FCA acting up is a loping idle.

didnt make any difference. I also put a new southbend clutch and flywheel in, that smoothed it up a little better, guess I just have one thats not a smooth runner.
