i just go by the wix interchange book on my cat filters. it says it is exactly the same. do not know for sure. but since it is direct replacement buy the cat for the higher price and screw it on. or fleetguard is fs5320.

Just get the GDP cylinder head mount kit and don't look back.

I just got done installing mine and I'm very impressed with it, especially the mount it's very stout (I wouldn't think twice about leaning on it when working in the engine bay) and positions the filter perfectly for easy access without getting in the way of anything else (i.e. checking the power steering fluid), the fuel line it comes with is rated for 300psi and made in the U.S.A. and best of all you can use a different intake than stock. The only thing I did not like about the install instructions is they do not give any torque specs, so I used what the service manual had for the banjo bolts that were removed on the new fittings, I tend to overtighten things without the specs.

This is where I mounted mine. Purchased the kit that mounts on the air horn but relocated it here since I have the engine mounted TPS. I welded a piece of metal with holes in it to the fender support bracket. The filter is bolted to the metal piece.
Had to purchase a few more feet of fuel line. The fender liner goes back on no problem.

Looks to me, that might not be a good location. A rock thrown by the tire can puncture the filter and cause it to leak.

You could make a shield to protect it on two sides.

I re-read your post and forgot about the fender liner.

Got some pictures? Fits without mods?
I don't like the spot in the picture above, looks like it's tire time too Al.
