Has anybody else experienced this?? When I back out of the garage and stop, put the shifter into drive, I get a 1 second vibration/rattle coming from underneath. It doesn't do it everytime, I mostly experience it when the truck is colder. It also seems that I need to back up a few feet to get it to do it again.
Otherwise it drives great, no vibration or noise, shifts are smooth up and down.

My brother in law asked if it could be a loose heat sheild?

Any ideas?

 

sounds like an exhaust system vibe, try putting a motorcycle tie down from the tailpipe to the trailer hitch and cinching it tight to stiffen the exhaust system. then see if your vibe is gone.
