1 piece driveshaft part number - 2004.5 quad 4x4 long bed

Looking for part number of 1 piece driveshaft and best place to buy

If anyone knows part number and place to buy the two piece rubber bearing carrier, I would like to know that as well.

Thanks
Scott

All I can provide is the part number I purchased for my truck. This was from Doghousediesel quite awhile ago..

Looks like all they sell now is a custom shaft that is supposed to be better. but more $$...

1-52123220AB-1-Piece Aluminum Driveshaft for Automatic
495.00

This is part and cost I paid over 2 years ago. I was able to find sources by searching for this part number..

Best of luck.. You will like the single shaft. I had the 2 piece and could feel the difference when I did change over.

That part number is $905 at my local ram dealer - OUCH. She started rattling off a disclaimer about 2 pc versus 1 pc to address "shutter", etc - I never told her the year of my truck / if I even had a 2 piece drive shaft.

I think the Doghouse diesel price is $7xx and is a larger/stronger one than the number I provided.
So the website states..

Steve White motors in NC is a power dealership and all there stock OEM parts are way cheaper then any local dealer. You can buy the new carrier bearing there for $124.00. My local dodge $209.00
Napa $180 Good luck

part number?

Justin - Do you know the spicer part number?

I have my 2 piece at a local driveline shop to convert into a 1 pc but they are concerned it will not be robust / strong enough. They build steel driveshafts.

Thanks

Carrier bearing replaced with equivalent to the spicer as well as replaced 2 of the 3 u-joints with the Spicer 1410 u-joints. I am sold so far on spicer vs precision u-joints.
Truck is really smooth, like new!

I got my dads 08 Vin # and went to the dealer and order the factory One piece. Had it shortened about an inch and a quarter, I forget exactly how much. $450 for the driveline $100.00 to have it shortened. It has been five years With no u joint problems
