i have an 06 with 25000 miles, this morning i started the truck and the check engine light stayed on and hasnt turned off. when i went to look for any codes that might come up all it said was done and then the check engine light blinked and then continued to stay on. Does anyone have any advice. Another problem is the front pass tire is wearing on the outsides really bad and i checked the pressure which was fine but im wondering if the ball joints might be out already. and i also may have a speaker wiring problem, the speakers cut out for a split second and then come back. not so much of a problem but can be really annoying. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

An 06 with 25k, I'd assume is still under warranty? If so I think I'd let the dealer look at the check engine light at least.

Regarding the strange tire wear, you might jack it up and try to rock the tire by top and bottom, or front and back and see if anything is slopped out. Otherwise, I suppose it would be time for a trip to an alignment shop.
