Good morning I've got a 06 dodge 2500 when I go to start it the gauges move the rpm moves from idle to 0 and back the horn will occasionally blow the security light flashes and when I put it in drive or reverse it idels up like the torque converter is bad I just had the transmission rebuilt and I took it back to them and they said the torque converter is good I took it to dodge they found a coraded ground wire and flashed the computer it fixed everything but the truck idling up. Got in it this morning and it's going crazy again. Does it sound like a bad ecm. Thanks

 

check all the ground wires

 

Thanks checked and cleaned those. I just ordered a new computer and it fixed all the problems. except for the truck idleing up when I put it in drive of reverse I just had the transmission rebuilt guess ill take it back and have him fix it im guessing its the torque convertor
