06 07 seem trouble with 07's

im not sure i thiught i had read something in here cant remember to much info on here to remember, just curious found alot of 07 5.9s with 5000 to 15,000 for sale just curious why sell with 10,000 miles ya know but thanks , calm now i keep looking for MINE

Unless there has been a change in design, your dual mass flywheel will go out. I know of 6 hot shotters I work with and all of them with 2006's including myself have relplaced the DMF (on the getrag). I replaced mine at 94,000.
The biggest B.S. factor is that Dodge changed the part number, and the price went from $400 to $899 for the same part.

Is the dmf a 3rd gen thing or was that on 2nd gens too?
50K and no problems
My 2nd gen had 375,000 on it when I sold it and never have a flywheel issue even after 3 clutches and a busted syncronizer

Yes I'd also like to know what issues you are reffering to regarding the 07

I haven't heard of anyhting different my '06 (new in Feb 07) has been flawless up to date. Approaching 30,000 miles.
