I love my 5.9L
It can still run the old low sulfur fuel and gets about 1.5 mpg better mileage with it

Unless there has been a change in design, your dual mass flywheel will go out. I know of 6 hot shotters I work with and all of them with 2006's including myself have relplaced the DMF (on the getrag). I replaced mine at 94,000.

The biggest B.S. factor is that Dodge changed the part number, and the price went from $400 to $899 for the same part.

Is the dmf a 3rd gen thing or was that on 2nd gens too?
50K and no problems
My 2nd gen had 375,000 on it when I sold it and never have a flywheel issue even after 3 clutches and a busted syncronizer

I haven't heard of anyhting different my '06 (new in Feb 07) has been flawless up to date. Approaching 30,000 miles.
