03 ball joints YES

thanks for all the help/// So what everone is saying that if the ball jionts move up and down about 3 quarters stacked on top of each other they are ok.. They do not move side to side at all that is like a rock.. so other peoples do the same right its on a 03 dodge2500 4x4.. Dusty..

NO! Up and down movement is not good. Look into getting them replaced. Leaving them will lead to additional wear on the tires, poor handling, noise, and if one were to come apart!? oh, my! ( not that I have seen them come apart, but could you imagine!)

When you replace them , I'd really consider putting in after market ball joints that you can grease.
