This will be the 1st year that I can remember that I'll spend at home with just my family & Wifey's niece & nephew from Peru, instead of heading for Mom's house. (30 minute trip).

Not sure what I am going to be doing other than bragging to all the relatives about my truck and possibly pulling them out of the driveway when they get stuck

I get to put up Christmas lights again!

It will probably snow with my luck! :- Does an electrician live close by? Wife bought another 2000 lights and other miscellaneous lawn art to add to the display this year! :'(
At least, I get to deep-fry a turkey this year, and maybe I can con all the family to help with plenty of beer and cocktails.

Attached is a image of my Christmas Lights American Flag 8)

Folks are driving from PA to Texas (hope the weather is good). Wife and I are getting the house in order for the visit. Can't wait to eat mom's cooking on turkey day.

Staying home, my four children, and my wife's one are coming over to our house, along with there better halfs, and eight grand children. So I think I'll have less hair yet come the morning of the 28th. I'll have to park the Ram far away from the house to keep it safe, if you know what I mean.

Going to my grandparents farm, I can only take so much of a house full of relitives so I'm taking my quad for some cross country riding (of course that's just an excuse to pull my enclosed trailer with my truck!! ;D)

We are going to Joel's neighborhood - to Arlington TX to have Thanksgiving with Granny (almost 94 years old), an Uncle and two (or more) cousins.

Hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving with their families and/or friends. Remember to thank God for all your blessings.

500 or so useless miles on the Cummins.....going to San Jose to my brother in law's house. Hate the drive, hate the Silicon Valley, my brother in law doesn't drink and he don't know how to properly prepare (deep fry) a turkey.

Worse yet, when I drive I only stop for fuel, which means no stops until San Jose. Oughtta be lots of fun with a 9 year old girl and a three year old boy......

I'm almost welcoming a case of the puking flu

Re:It sure does seem time......

Well....

Its the one day of the year I invite all the relatives over..Some disaster usually occurs, so I have to lock up all the motorized toys..My brothers 10 yr old got on my last xr100 and crashed it into my neighbors garage door, damaging both...that cost me 1100.00...hes not invited back this year..They always wait til my back is turned...and in typical relative fashion, no offer to pay the damage..Now this year is my sister who wants to bring her new puppy...on my new carpet...I said no, so now shes mad and won't come..oh well...with any luck, I'll **** em all off and it I'tl just be me!
