Hey guys I have an 05 dodge that is having an issue. If I let the truck idle then put it in gear it will bog down like its going to die then it will rev up and run fine. It doesn't always happen and sometimes it will bog down for less than a second and sometimes as long as 5 seconds. It does this with the smarty on or on stock.

II was having issues a few months ago but a fuel filter change seemed to fix it. For a while I was changing airdog filters weekly and then the problem went away for about 2 months. When it started it again a filter change didn't help.

I've also had my wait to start light come on while idling. Yesterday it only came on for about 5 seconds but I've had it stay on longer and persist between restarts.

The truck has 165,000 miles and had new injectors and engine rebuild at 135,000.

I have a Bluetooth obd2 scanner that should be here today and I'm under the impression with it and the torque app I can monitor rail pressure but I thought I'd see if anyone here might have ideas on the possible cause.

Thanks. Between you mentioning it here and someone else mentioning it on another forum it motivated me into making the drive to Cummins and getting one to change it out. It seems to have fixed my issue.
