05' 3500. bogging after half throttle

Hey guys,
I have a 05' 5.9l diesel. Recently I've having this issue if I try to accellerate after 1/2 throttle the engine will quickly rev and stop climbing in revs. It sounds like a blow off valve venting the compressed air. I also notice that alot of black smoke comes out the tail pipe. If I let off the pedal And ease back into the throttle it will be run normal. But as soon i get past 1/2 throttle it does the same thing. It just looses all power. It doesnt shut off, it just goes dead. If i hold the throttle while its acting up. It just stays at the revs with no power and again the black smoke

It happeneds regardless of gear and temperature.

I have taken it to 2 shops. They cant figure it out.

I've browsed the forums. I cant seem to find anyone with the exact same problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!!!

hook up a boost gauge, sounds like your loosing it somewhere, a gauge will tell that story.

when i popped my hose off at the turbo, it had the same symptoms, 2-3 PSI max pressure, instead of the 25-35
