I have a 04.5 3500 ram 5.9 diesel. I have tried searching the forums for answers but there are hundreds of repetitive and irrelevent posts plus the numerous posts about boost foolers. I have the 0480 and 0243 codes. After looking at tons of posts I saw one that said to unplug the fan and see if that gets rid of the 0243 code. I did this and the 0243 code is now gone but I still have the 0480 code and now the 0483 code which I imagine was due to unplugging the fan. I can't seem to find that post anymore so I decided to post here to see if i can get a fix for this. I noticed that after I checked the codes and the 0243 wastegate solenoid code was gone, I started mt truck and the fan was still running even after I unplugged it. Anybody have any answers?
