03 Transmission

How good is 03 47 RE transmission for pulling a boat that weighs 6000lbs?

I regularly pull 10,000+ lbs. with my 47RE, 50k miles and no problems so far (knock, knock). Shouldn't have any trouble with 6,000 lbs- that's 1/2 ton gasser territory!

I tow a 24' enclosed with car and equipment much more weight than 6000lbs and have had no issues. I did upgrade the TQ & Valvebody.
