03 Spitting Coolant

A buddies freind of mine has an 03 2500, 90K, K&N Filter and thats it. The other day his dad notice that there was coolant on the ground so he opened the hood and there was coolant all over the hood. He says when it is cool it will leak the coolant, but once warmed up it doesn't anymore. And the bearing(s) in the water pump are gone as well. So what could be causing this?

Thanks, Dinner

If you look at the overflow tube on the passenger top side of the radiator, you will see that there is no bandclamp holding the hose on. Many of us had a coolant leak there, and the fix was just putting a hoseclamp on it. Try that.

Check the plugs that are at the top of the engine next to the valve cover. Mine were all loose and I was loosing coolant from there.
