How/where to grease front axle on 2010 2500.
Under the hood of my 2010 Laramie 2500, there is a sticker which says "CAUTION: Grease front axle with every oil change" and it shows a diagram of the u-joints next to the transfer case. But, for the life of me, I can not find any grease zerks on or near the u-joints. In fact, after looking at the front end and all of the u-joints (front axle, front wheels, rear axle), I do not see any grease zerks.
I grew up on a farm and am accustomed to the "nipple" type grease zerks. So, maybe there is a newer type of grease zerk....
Could somebody tell me where to look and what to look for?

The front axle doesn't have a zerk for 2010. The front drive shaft has a needle type grease fitting and you needle one of those needles for your grease gun.
Here's a pic of the needle fitting you need and a pic of the drive shaft lube point that someone else posted awhile back. Very useful pic and I printed it out on a color printer for future reference.

Just the constant velocity joint as per the picture posted. When you replace U-Joints then it is suggested to get the greasable ones. The drawback with greasable units is that most people kill them with kindness - IE they place too much gease in them usually and blow the seals.

I've seen the needle fittings at all of the major parts stores including the ones you mentioned. They are a common item and sometimes will have 3 or 4 different types.

here they are a bunch of idiots I found one today at NAPA - the guy at NAPA laughed when I told him the other two did not have it. He said he was suprised they had anything considering they do not stock their shelves correctly

I have never seen a fitting like that before. How dose that connect to the grease gun and do you just press it on the lube point? I have one of the needle fittings and did not seem to work very well.

You got it. Jack up one wheel and rotate the DS until you find the "zerk" and then press the neddle in and pump . Its a bugger to get lined up and I usually waste a lot grease trying to get it lined up straight.
