Cracked Dash

I have a '01 with 76000 miles, and while washing it this weekend, noticed a crack in the dash. My company truck is a 01 gas dually, and the dash looks like a minefield, cracks and holes everywhere, across the whole dash, from drivers door to passenger door. We have about 6 dodge trucks, from 1/2 tons to 1 tons and every last one of them has a dash with BIG holes in them. This really ticks me off I just got rid of my 92 forerunner with over 200,000 miles, with NO cracks. I have never owned a vehicle that had a dash that self destructed.
If anyone has any ideas on how to get DC to replace or pay partially or fully for a dash replacement, I would appreciate the info.

Question

Seems like the Dash cover fro Geno's +/or Epoxy are the easy cures. It would seem putting a new dash in is very time consuming & expensive. Anyone have experience with this?
Let's see. Gen 2 common issues that seem to bite everyone:
1. Lift pump(VP44 just behind that)
2. Dashbards
Not great, but not bad, considering.
I use mine just for RVing, just turned 28k, but that will change soon on retirement. No issues yet with dash or LP, but got my $65 spares. Also have my Vulcan kit & gauges ready to install.
How many people have not been bitten by these issues?
Any others to add to the list?

Only if you get the hole in the right place. I could stop the cracks that were there, but it didn't stop new ones.

I put a Dashmat on, so at least I can't see them now. Also, the Dashmat has stopped the outgassing film on the inside of the windshield. It fits pretty well except for the part that comes down over the passanger airbag to the glove box. As a side note, I got the gray, but charcoal would probably have matched the interior a little better.

Ditto on the cracked dash syndrome. I have 201k on it now and it has been cracked since 100K. I have used conditioners on it and a sunshield but many others think it is cracked in part from the torque. I have seen my cab flex before and not sure if it transferred any to the dash. Mine is more than cracked it is coming apart in4 places from windshiel d up.verymad[]

Three cracks here, seems to all be at the edge of the vents in the dash also.

Heres my short list of interior problems :

Cracked dash, crack started at 3rd defroster vent and headed towards the passenger airbag. I stopped the crack about 4 inches from where it started by drilling the hole at the end (the trick is finding the end of it, the visible end usually isn't the end of the crack. The crack can extend up to 1/2" beyond the visible end, beneath the surface). The crack has not progressed any further I have seen no more cracks. Mine cracked just before I rolled 90K and I have the dark gray dash.

Just like matthopp, my sunglasses holder clip is cracked and dang near broken. Funny thing is I never use it.

My overhead console lights had retaining spring mount break, on each light. I glued them back down and they are good so far.
