Wiring Door locks with Remote start???

I just got a Python 990 remote start/security alarm for my truck, I have everything working ok EXCEPT for the power locks I already have keyless but dont want to deal with 2 different fobs, I cant for the life of me figure out how to wire them. I have tried 6 different wires that have to do with the door locks, and non of them operate correctly. Do I need to use a couple relays to get them to work?

Tonight I connected the wires from my Python alarm to the wires coming out of my drivers door lock switch, it all works fine until I plug the door lock switch back in, then they dont work with the python system. unplug the switch and the python will lock and unlock them, anybody ANYBODY have any info or help to offer? This was a very expensive alarm system and I dont want to be screwed. Thanks

You will need 4 relays. They are kind of a pain, but once you see it, you'll understand. more. They are polarity reversing motors and switches. I'll see if I can find the diagram somewhere.

You need the 4 wire reversal. 4 relays. A real pain, but nice once it's in!

Just a thought. But since your truck already has keyless entry could you not just get the keyless thing into programmer mode and push the buttons you want to use on the new remote. Then it would be proggramed for that.

I've done an 01 and 02. Have also seen the install on another 01 and 2 relays was all that was required. These were all valet systems, but I'm sure that most are using the same type momentary signal for unlock/lock.

locks

Ok, I am going completly insane trying to figure this out, what makes it worse I am a tech at a dodge dealer, so I should know how, I have tried a TON of different things, I have read about the 5-wire reverse polarity stuff, but I dont think thats what I got

I have factory keyless entry, my wires coming out of the switch DO NOT go directly to the lock motors like the 5-wire relay diagram shows, they go into my high-line central timer module (BCM) and then that switches the polarity (I believe) and outputs the signal to the motors. THe motor wires are orange/black and pink/black and go from the motor to the CTM, so I dont think the 5-wire relay diagram would work cause thats for when the switch is wired directly to the motors.

Can sombody please let me know whats going on and what the heck I need to do? Maybe im just missing something simple. Thanks

I'm installing another one this week... If I think about it I will get wire colors/pin numbers for where I cut and spliced into the harness to install the relays tomorrow...
