wiper help
I haven't driven my truck in 4 months(I know...what the heck is wrong with me) After jumpstarting the truck, I was driving down the road and tried to wash off the windshield. Washer fluid sprayed all over the windshield, but now wipers (which made it really difficult to see where I was going.) Fuse is ok, so what do I need to check next. Is it my motor that locked up or linkage from no use in a while. thanks

Wouldn't be surprised if the linkage is getting stiff, been there done that.
It's not a big job to pull it all out and lube it up. I have had to do it to mine twice so far in 10 years.

Had the same problem with my wipers - only mine quit when driving through a downpour
In my case the wiper motor went out. I found the linkage a little stiff but not enough to burn out the motor. On my 1986 F250 I am still on the original wipe motor.
Geno's garage has the motors for sale for around a reasonable $60.

Mine started acting up a few years back and then quit for good. Had to R&R motor.
Lotsa rain up here so figured a 9 year run was about it!!
