Windshield Wipers

Ok...Im attempting to change my windshield wiper motor and I need to take my wiper arms off..Well it looks like there is a little clip that you need to pull out of the arm before you can pull the wiper off of the gear but that little clip isnt moving much...Anyone know exactly how these come apart???

Grab the wiper arm and pull back away from the windshield, then pull up the little lever and the wiper arm will release from the motor stud. If they have never been off you might need a little screwdriver to move the lever up. A little squirt of WD-40 will help if they're really caked on there. -Glen

yep do what he says...the lil clip pulls out maybe 1mm thats all...don't expect some major pull out...just a hair literarily...then u need enough force to lift the joint straight up and off...i used a lil puller and hooked the two ends under it to distribute the presse equally and then just grabbed it and pulled up...but my truck is older than your ...so u definitely may not need anythign that drastic

Don't forget a dab of antiseize on the shaft stems when you re-assemble.
