windshield washer canister leak - how to remove

Looks simple enough, but I though it might be good to ask: Upon inspection, it looks like I just need to remove the top radiator hose, loosen a couple of cable hold downs tomove the connecting battery cable enough to slide the WW fluid canister up out of its slotted position, and remove canister connects so I can find where the canister is leaking? Is there anything else I need to be cautioned or aware of before attempting to make this repair? Thanks, DD

You don't say what year you have but on my '95s it's much easier than what you're planning.
On mine you just push in on the lock dimple on the reservoir and pull up.
Sometimes a slipping a long thin screwdriver between the reservoir and holder is easier than pushing on the dimple.

The pump and tubing just pull out of the tank.

You will need a long flat blade screwdriver to pry between the bottle and the shroud. There is a bump (or two) on the bottle that fit in holes in the shroud that keep you from just lifting it straight out.

You are correct the hose must be moved.

Hey all, Thanks for the replies.. forgot to mention that the R&R is for a 2001 RAM 2500.. With that additional info, is there anything more that someone can add to making this easier? Thanks, DD
