Anybody have a link for replacement window and lock switches for my 96? I dont want junk yard parts but dont want to buy from Dodge unless that is the only place to get them.

When I replaced the switches in my 95, I went to the dealer for them. They were $28 two years ago. After taking them out and inspecting them, I believe they can be taken apart and cleaned/repaired. It might take some fine emery cloth. I haven't needed to do it yet, because they are all working in the 96. I would try that first, though I never looked for replacements from anyone other than the dealer.

I did a repair on a pontiac sunbird with power windows...

I took the switch apart and found that the copper contacts were pitted and wore out...

The fix... I took a soldiering gun and soldiered up the holes in the copper reed and added a little bit back to ther contacts. Lightly filed the soldier down flat and BINGO!

As far as I know that switch still works!!!

I bought the drivers side for a '97, included the mount, two window and the door lock switch for $28, free shipping. Hardly worth fixing at that price. Here's the place> http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...cfm?siteid=835
