window/lock switches
anybody ever replace the window/lock switches with non-factory switches? mine are all broken and falling apart. they work, but the only thing locating them is the wires LOL. i want to buy some universal window switches such as these: http://www.altex.com/Heavy-Duty-12V-...9-P146523.aspx . but im not sure its do-able. i have been studying the wiring diagram for the window/lock circuits, but its not making much sense to me. i hate the way chrysler illustrates thier switches. its quite vauge. anybody ever do this? have any input?

I don't believe those switches will work.
here is how link how windows work

after market

I am going to use 2 double pole single throw switvh to make one switch.

I can't see that switch very well but if it reverses polarity it would work. if it has power ground going into one side and power ground coming out on the other (4 pole switch) it might reverse polarity so then you'd just need to find the 2 wires for the window regulator and wire it accordenly, then for the passenger side do the same......door locks would be the same too only easier since 1 switch runs both doors.......

or you could wire in relays on the double momentary switch if it didn't reverse polarity and get it to work i believe........ does the switch run to relays or straight to the regulator??? i don't have a wiring schematic to look at......
