Hi, I did an extensive search here and did not come up with anything solid as to preferred wheel backspacing, so came up with the following.
16in wheel 5 to 5.5in backspacing
17in wheel 6in backspacing
So, with this in mind, what are my options for a clean design and easy to clean wheel? I have come to pick the 17in. wheel
1st choice: MT Classic II 17x9 with 5.0 backspacing 3000lbs.
2nd choice: ProComp Xtreme 1069 17x9 with 4.75in backspacing 3420lbs.
3rd choice: XD series wheels with 5.71in backspacing
Looking to use 35in tires or maybe a 295/70/17. For my 2000 sport 4x4 Quad Cab.
What say yee?

 

i would go with the XD, thats my next choice( I have Eagle alloys now...)

 

I have a set of wheels 16.5x10 with 33x1250 tires and I needed flares to cover them. They dont rub but theres no way im getting 35"s on there even with a 3" lift.
Im looking at helo 821 wheels (5.89" BS) now, along with some manual hubs that push the wheels out 3/4". Still trying to decide if I can squeeze a 35" tire in there too.
