Oh man, that horse has been rode hard and put away wet as they say in the cowboy industry. I'd keep lookin' if you don't mind me saying it. Been my experience that you can tell what kind of total care a truck has been given from 10 feet away that one is hurtin'. New clutch? Not a big selling point. Just my 2 cents........

i know you guys keep saying it looks worn out but i dnt understand what u mean fully? do u mean that it looks like its been mistaken care of? i found fenders and a bed for 600. what all can go wrong with a poorly taken care of cummins? what i mean to ask is: are there things i can look for on the engine such as vibration or noise? do a compression check? if the engine is smooth and starts right up and the steering is solid and the trans shifts good what would u say 5500? sorry for being repetitive and i do appreciate ur views.

Can't really judge how well it was taken care of by it's looks. I've got a little car that looks terrible from 50 ft., runs like a top. The kids all hate to drive it but when their cars have problems it's always there for them.
That guy may have been good at maintaining but bad at polishing

This cowboy is giving you some GOOD advice. Keep lookin, you'll find one a lot cleaner and better taken care of. IMO anyway.

i totaly agree my truck has rust and dents but i would jump in it and take it to florida if i had to. just because of looks you are judging a book by its cover. i would by it for 6000

That skyjacker lift is an expensive addition. If you like the truck I'd say it's probably worth the money. If you don't like the lift then it's probably not a good deal for you. Clean trucks are going for alot more $ than that.
My truck has cancer over the rear wheels, back bumper looks terrible, paint is faded and peeling. Runs great, doesn't use any oil and has a log book with everything done to it. Can't judge by looks.
