Cummins/Fleetguard. Stay away from Fram.

Fleetfilter.com Now we're talking baby. They're the Napa gold filters at a much better price if you buy bulk.

I have the stock fuel filter (Fleetgard 2micron) as well as a pre-filter (Raycor 10 or 30 Micron).

Works great! The Raycor has 3/4" ports so the flow is great with 1/2" lines.

I run strictly Fleetguard filters. I can get them cheaper from Geno's than buying from Napa and I know they're quality filters.

I have been running purolator oil & fuel filters. Haven't heard anything bad about them.

Any updates to this discussion? I would not be a happy camper if I put in the wrong filter and it was lettin' unfltered fuel past it 'cause it was not a perfect fit.
What filter will work properly in the '01 stock canister?
I would like to put a primary (a remote filter, like a spin on 10-12 micron) between the tank and the stock filter, if using one of these 5 or 7 micron filters. I have been looking everwhere for a filter head and filter that I can mount under the truck and use with .5 inch fuel lines.

I run Fleetguards most of the time. Sometimes I forget to reorder them from genos so I use Wix from my local parts store.
