Why not Fleetguard? Get them from Cummins or Geno's.

Wix or Napa Gold they are the same thing and have worked great for a combined 450k plus on both my trucks.

I run Baldwin oil & fuel filters. Zero problems. I wouldn't run Fram as there have been statements that the filter will come apart. Not worth the risk IMO.

I buy my filters from Geno's. The Fleetguard filters I feel are the are the best available. Good prices and good shipping.

I just use the standard autozone fuel filter. Between our two trucks we've got 200k trouble free miles.

I used fleet guard mounted on cummins remote filter head bases. And i recently switched over to Wix brand filters which is the same as baldwin. I think.. Zero Problems. And cheap too.

Honestly Id stick with the fleetguard unless you changed out the housing to relocate it.
I use racors and theyre about the same price. But I have racor housings and theyre under the bed.

Based on the testing from Cummins I would stay away from the Baldwin---looks like a poor choice from the data I saw. Just order the Fleetguard from Geneos.

I believe the 7977 filters to 2 micron but absolute 5 micron....meaning it will collect all particles @5 micron and "I believe" 97% of the particles 2-4.9micron in size.

Yes I did a lot of research on these two filters , and the 7977 is for an 02 built after July and the 7777 are for before that ?????? It makes no sense to me as it was still the same engine untill 03 was it not ???? Would the 7977 be too restrictive for the fuel flow ?????? I,m at a loss. About to get 50 of them and don't know what one to get
