Vibration while driving

while driving at about 90KMH on the highway the truck went over a little dip or bump and started to vibrate and shudder unbeleivaby.I put it into neutral and got it off to the side and stopped I drove off carefully but it seemed okay is this the death wobble I have heard mentioned on this site before. The mechanic where i go said the front track bar needs replacing I am assuming this is what caused the issue. But He says this is a poor design by Dodge and doesn't know of any aftermarket fixes.is there something better. the truck is a 95 2500 4x4 with a leveling lift in it.

do a search on death wobble. there are alot of potential fixes starting with the track bar. there are also updated alignment specs that may help.

Yes it sounds like the death wobble. Try a search. You should find a ton of information on possible causes and cures.

For me a new steering stabilizer fixed it.
