Upgrade Factory Fog lights

Hey guys, i have a 2500 Dodge Ram yr 2001. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for an easy upgrade for my factory fog lights, like HIDs, or a whole new fog light set. thanks.

The factory units are pretty decent. They are driving lights more than fogs though. You can put a brighter bulb in them and adjust them to suit with a torx driver. I think its a #10. You can get to it with the hood up IIRC. My Dad put those hi intensity rounded lens ones in his and they are hella bright but the switch gets really hot with a relay. Fog lights and clearance lights are the only things he didn't order on that rig back in '93! Go figure.

I just ordered some super bright head light bulbs, Nokya brand. Ive heard alot of good about em and best of all, There plug and play bulbs so makes for just easy bulb swappin. I cant remember the site name and arent sure if they'd have fog light bulbs but Do a search and see what ya find.

I bought some of the super bright white headlight bulbs at autozone and they had the same brightness replacement for the fogs but they were out of stock at the time.

if the part number on the fog bulb is 9006, get a set of 9005, compare bases and trim 9006 to fit, 20 watts extra !
