Tow Mirror Problem
Tow Mirror Problem
Gentlemen,
My trailer tow mirrors will not stay put! :'( After you set them in place, they move. I know I saw a website that showed how to fix this problem. Does anyone remember or know where they saw it? ??? Thanks for your help. Love my Cummins. 8)

Re:Tow Mirror Problem
Unless I'm missing something, which is more than likely, your loose towing mirror is covered under warranty. I've had both sides replaced on my truck by the dealer and I'm watching my right mirror closely again. The dealer warned me that it may happen and bring it in when it does.

Re:Tow Mirror Problem
There was a factory safety recall about this problem. It apparently makes no matter if your truck is in or out of warranty. Check with your dealer. It goes by the build sequence of your truck.
Mine was called in for it. Fortunately it didn't have a mirror problem yet, so they gave me the new mirrors for when it does happen. Them 2 boxes look pretty cool sitting on the shelf.
