Hi, I broke the glass in my mirror. Any place to get replacement glass? And how hard is it to replace it?

I have heard that glass shops will cut you a new piece and mount it. That would probably be the cheapest way out.

A lot depends on which mirror your broke; convex or the regular. Most glass stores that deal with autos will have the pre-cut tow mirros. Check out my problem a while back, mine is still working well and it was pretty cheap if i remember right.

A lot of the do it yourself parts houses have ready to mount just glass , it is cut to match factory , and has 2 sided tape , you peal off the paper and stick it on whats left of the old , maybe $10 and just a couple min. to put on.

 

If you have a Binswanger Glass shop nearby, they can supply and install replacement mirror glass for factory mirrors.
