Tire report

After much deliberation, I finally bought some tires, thought I'd pass on some info. I ordered a set of Pro Comp all terrains, 235/85R16. Right now they are running their buy 3 get 1 free deal. Shipping is only 69.95 for four tires right now. 50K tread wear guarantee, no questions asked road hazard replacement. Grand Total, $588.00 to my doorstep. I looked at the M55s, HOLY COW ARE THOSE THINGS EXPENSIVE!!! I think they wanted like 280 bucks down here at my local tire shop! Then I looked into the Cooper STs, they weren't as bad, but I know I will not get the mileage out of them that I will with the Pro Comps. I will still have to pay to have them mounted and balanced, but I think it's a pretty good deal all in all.

Now to make your new tire purchase even better skip the balancing and use these http://www.innovativebalancing.com/index.html

I swear by them, one of the best inventions ever. I've been using them in every vehicle I own for over five years.

I've been running air soft pellets in the TSLs on my Jeepster for the last couple years without any problems.
Same idea but a larger pellet.

I just bought a set of Yokohama Geolander AT-s. Discount tire matches all competitors including the internet. $131 each @ tirerack. Discount adds tax and install but not shipping so you get any tire they carry at the very best price you can find. Just take a screenshot with you.

I got the Goodyear Silent Armour, same size, for about $150 each, mounted & balanced. About $1000 for 6 with road hazzard warranty & 50k mileage. A Goodyear "Company store will work with you to get a good deal, if you show competition. I have not seen any complaints on these tires.
