O.K. I know that to mount a alum. alloy stock rim on anything under a 99 there is a little work to be done,as far as clearing drums, but what about a set of chrome stockers from a 97, will they fit on a 2000-2001? buddy of mine wants to by mine, they are mint condition and he is willing to trade me his 10x16 mickeys straight across,-he is going to trade his truck in for a 03 3500 and he owes me a little money on the side anyhow, so.....

shoot, just bolt them on and see.

 

Only way to know for sure is give it a try.
Better than relying on heresay, or himsay.

Since it is a Buddy, and not cross country, it is the best route.
