I need some bolts for the tailgate. They are the bolts on the tailgate in the latch that are used to hold the straps on. I am missing both of them. Anyone know a part number for them? or Where can I get them? Thanks

Funny you should say that. I'm missing one recently too.

 

Start with the local boneyard. Then try AutoZone, Advance, etc. They have a "help" section, which has just about everything like that.

 

Thats a good idea, I'll have to try that. They were missing when I bought the truck. The guy had new straps in the truck, but no bolts. I'm not sure what happened to them.

 

I can't see them costing too much from the local dodge dealer.

 

you should be able to find them in a wrecking yard.... 94 & up are the same

 

are the bolts the ones with the torx head, and a shoulder just under the head? if so, i have a couple you can have.just pay the shipping
