Tailgate hinge

When I purchased my truck the previous owner had a Caravan camper on the back and cut the tailgate hinge tabs OFF my truck......

I got some from a wrecking yard and got them welded back on today. Is there a rubber piece that goes inside the tailgate oval hinge side? Seems like the tailgate is a little loose on the bottom.......

Thanks.....

There is a rubber cover for the tabs you had welded on - probably a dealer item - try slipping on a piece of heater hose - it might be all you need.

I got mine at CarQuest, but I'm sure the other car parts places can get them. I posted teh MFG and P/N here a while back but don't remember what it was. They are just hard plastic.
