Daytime Run Lights

Hi, I have noticed my DRL have all the sudden quit, I have checked the fuses and can't even find a fuse for them. Is there something else it could be? Emergency is all the way out, It is an 02 Ram 2500 5.9

DRL well known to fail, usually they stick on and cant shut the lights off.
headlights will work normally if its unplugged, except that the hi-beam indicator wont work, it can be jumpered at the drl to restore the hi-beam indicator light function.

mine has been unplugged and a Daniel Stern Parklight DRL installed. Daniel's DRL was 40$

here is a pin out of the DRL, it will help you fiqure out if the DRL is indeed failed

my opinion is the parklight DRL is far superior, I can now "flash my headlights if needed, it saves on headlights, and the Park light version looks better(and its legal in canada)

and with parklights only on look like this

Something to consider, My high beam indicator still works so does that mean that it is not the DRL? Or does the high beam In. only not work when the thing is unplugged?

indicator working is no indication of moduel being good or bad, I was just saying if you unplug it the indicator wont work unless you jumper the pins 3 and 6. but with the pin out(diagram) you can get a test light and see if the module is sending voltage to the lites, if its not then its a bad module

OK Great, thanks for the info. I will check it to see if it is bad. Where can I get the one for the park lights if needed?
