Suspension/Steering advice
Suspension/Steering advice
Got some noise issues and a slight rattling from a couple steering parts bumping together from my new suspension. I'll try to post a pic of it in a minute. My installer said it's cause the linkage going to my pitman arm is angled higher now, and he said it would be better if he could attach the linkage to the bottom of the pitman arm, but he can't cause it's beveled at the top. So he recommended I get a fabtech pitman arm that drops about 5". Now, Thuren and Carli says no, thats too much drop, and it's odd I have the issue anyway.
So I need some advice from a expirenced front end guy. Should I try to use a 1 or 2" spacer, or machine the bottom of the pitman arm, or is there a pitman arm out there that only drops about 1 or 2"?

Even though I wouldn't be too glad with the stering geometry of your setup, I think that the main problem is that your sway bar links are too long.
I don't see if you could gain something by swapping the upper and lower rubbers on the links, but it might be worth a try.
