Strange keyless entry question

I am having a strange issue with my keyless entry. I must press the unlock button on my key fob twice to unlock the doors. The first press turns the light on and the second press unlocks the doors. This started after I turned on the rolling door locks. I have turned the rolling locks off and on a dozen times in an attempt to fix the issue, to no avail. There seems to be a time limit as to how fast you can press the button twice. If it is pressed in quick succession, it will not unlock the doors. If I wait about 2 or 3 seconds between each press of the button, it works.

Has anyone dealt with this issue before?

Thank you
Keith

On mine the 1st unlock press turns on the interior light and unlocks the drivers door, the second press unlocks the passenger door. Don't have my owenr manual handy to look up the other changes. Good luck.
