OK guys I need some help here.
On my 98 I have now I wanted to get the lights to flash and no horn honk when unlocking the doors so I fill my wallet with $$$$$ and go to the dealer and have him hook up the almighty DC scanner and he says he cant do it, that its not a option?????[very mad] Whats the deal I had them set it that way on my 98 24v. Do you think this guy just didn't know what he was doing? He said the only options were horn beep off and on? Even the manual says the lights should flash. Anybody else have this problem? Thx

 

I applaud your desire to cut down on noise pollution. I don't know the answers, but my remote setup came with no beep and no lights. Silent, the way it should be.

 

Mine too i don't think you can get lights to flash on a 1998, i could be wrong though

I guess it has to do with the difference in computers between the 12-24v
All I know is I was able to do it on my 98 24v so.......?
Any other 12v 98 owners with the keyless entry please post if your lights(park/interior) flash when you lock/un-lock your doors.
