Trying to remember if the stock rims are 16 or 17" on the 2001s . . . can someone help? Thanks.

Definitely 16", the 17" started with the '03 model.

Thanks guys. My dad wants my '06 wheels and I wasn't sure he's going to have to wait for new tires to make the swap or not - but that clears it up!

 

16's for sure I have the 3 rd gen wheels (17's) on my truck I think they look pretty good for steel/chrome plated wheels, if I knew how to post pics i would

 

Yeah, I think they'll look good on his truck too. His truck is red and the wheels (stock) that are on it look like crap - but then again he's never been much into "styling", which is fine. We drove through some heavy salt spray from a road crew a couple years go while duck hunting in North MO and I think the spray finally caught up to his passenger side wheel, as it's in bad shape. I told him I'd sell him my 2006 wheels (getting 20"s Friday) for about the same as he could buy a replacement wheel for, haha. Not even my cheap dad could pass that up.

i JUST PUT A SET OF 03 ON MY 1996 THE 17S WITH THE 265 REALLY FILL THE HOLE IN HEY HOW DID YOUR REAR CENTER CAP FIT MINE FITS TIGHT BUT DOES NOT GO ALL THE WAY ON DUE TO THE HUB STICKING OUT FARTHER THAN THE 03 ANY THOUGHTS
